Rhoads Retreat

Enjoy vacationing at our log cabin in a quiet, secluded location in the hills of southern Ohio. It features rustic decor with various antiques, wildlife mounts, kitchenette, spacious covered front porch, charcoal grill, fire pit, and hammock. Renter must furnish charcoal, firewood and drinking water, etc. There's sleeping accommodations for up to four guests, and all linens are provided. There is a couch and recliner for additional sleeping or tents can be used at an additional cost of $5 per night per person. Water for the bathroom is limited, so only washcloth baths are allowed, no baths or showers. No animals or pets are allowed in the cabin, unless kept in cage. Fishing in the stocked pond with largemouth bass, crappie and bluegill is included for guests on a catch and release basis. Paddle boating is available at cabin location. Within driving distance of Rocky Fork Lake and Amish Country. The cabin is offered as a daily rental April to mid-November, depending upon the weather. One night is $125, two or more nights are $100 per night. Tables and metal folding chairs are available for rent for events ($2/chair and $5/table), renter is responsible for set up and take down).

There is also a camp site with electric on the opposite side of the pond that has a fire pit that can also be rented for $35.00 a night. Includes fishing on a catch and release basis. Paddles boats for use if available. You will need to bring your own firewood for the fire pit. No water or restroom facilities available.
