Sunday, May 24, 2026
Highland – 10:00 a.m.
Highland Community Memorial Day CeremonyLocation: Highland Church & CemeteryThis ceremony will include a special recognition of Robert Blaine Tolle. Join the community for a meaningful service of remembrance in this historic setting.
Lynchburg – 12:00 p.m.
Parade line-up begins at the City Park.The ceremony will be held at the Masonic Cemetery, followed by veteran recognition and a Village Picnic at the Veterans Memorial. Bring a lawn chair, gather with friends and neighbors, and honor those who served.
Monday, May 25, 2026
Greenfield – 10:00 a.m.
The parade begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by a procession to City Hall for a ceremony before continuing on to the Greenfield Cemetery. This long-standing tradition reflects the pride and patriotism of the Greenfield community.
Pricetown – 10:00 a.m.
The march to Baker Cemetery begins at the Pricetown Church at 10:00 a.m.The annual program at the Pricetown Church begins at 11:00 a.m.A powerful tribute rooted in faith, fellowship, and remembrance.
Hillsboro – 10:30 a.m.
Location: Highland County Veterans MemorialAttendees are invited to the VFW Post 9094 immediately following the ceremony.In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at the VFW Post 9094 (located behind Dairy Queen).As the county seat, Hillsboro’s ceremony brings together veterans, families, and community leaders in a moving tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Buford – 11:00 a.m.
Program at the Buford CemeteryA quiet and respectful gathering honoring local heroes in a peaceful rural setting.
Leesburg – 1:00 p.m.
Program at the Leesburg Veterans MemorialAn afternoon opportunity to pause, reflect, and show appreciation for our fallen service members.
Mowrystown – 1:30 p.m.
The parade leaves Whiteoak High School at 1:30 p.m.The ceremony begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Mowrystown Cemetery.Community members line the streets in support before gathering for a meaningful remembrance ceremony.
Sinking Spring – 2:00 p.m.
Ceremony at Sinking Spring Community Church with a parade to follow.This heartfelt service highlights the deep respect and unity found in our smaller communities.
